Film festival programmer Feyza wants to select a film directed by her ex-girlfriend, Berfin Aslantürk, entitled ‘Debris Was A Thickening Wall’. The main character of the film — a Kurdish man named Cano — was caught up in the earthquake in Hatay, spending days under the rubble. Feyza struggles to convince her film festival colleagues to select the film. But after she eventually overcomes one hurdle, something else stands in her way…

This story is loosely based on the events that happened at Antalya Film Festival, where the censorship of a documentary caused the entire festival to be cancelled.
